These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Vera’s (“Vera”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) website, our messaging on WhatsApp, and our insurance-related information services (together, the “Services”). Vera operates in India. By using the Services or communicating with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. What Vera Does
Vera provides insurance information and guidance and helps connect you with licensed insurers and insurance partners. Vera is not an insurer. We do not issue, underwrite, sell, or administer insurance policies, and we do not collect premiums on our own account. Any insurance policy you obtain is a contract between you and the relevant licensed insurer, subject to that insurer’s terms, pricing, and approval.
2. No Professional Advice
Information provided through the Services is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute insurance, financial, legal, or tax advice. Insurance products, premiums, terms, and eligibility are determined by the insurer and may change. Before purchasing any policy, you should review the insurer’s official policy documents and verify all details directly with the insurer. You are responsible for the decisions you make.
3. Eligibility & Your Responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.
- You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when interacting with us.
- You agree to use the Services lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to them.
4. Communications & WhatsApp
By sharing your contact details or messaging us, you agree that we may contact you — including on WhatsApp — with service and, where you have opted in, marketing messages. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or emailing support@heyvera.in. Our handling of your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Third-Party Insurers & Partners
The Services may refer you to, or share your information with, third-party insurers and partners so they can provide quotes or policies. We do not control and are not responsible for their products, pricing, underwriting decisions, services, or content. Your dealings with any insurer or partner — including any policy you purchase — are solely between you and that third party.
6. Intellectual Property
The Vera name, brand, website, and content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our prior written permission.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information provided is complete, accurate, or up to date.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vera and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for any decision you make based on information provided through the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
